Among the Angels

Tell me Daddy I trust in you

Tell me what I need to do,

And why is the sky so blue

In the land of angels?

Why do clouds form in the sky?

Tell me Daddy I wonder why

How do eagles soar so high?

And play with angels.

Tell me Daddy I need to know

If God really loves us so,

Why did Grandma have to go

To live with angels?

Tell me how good I need to be

To make God notice me,

So I can go up there and see

The land of angels.

How can some folks be so mean?

And others just act in between.

Things aren’t always what they seem

Here beneath the angels.
